Gate Design and Manufacture in Southampton

We don't just fit gates, we design and make them. Every gate is built around your entrance, the way it's used and the look you want, then installed, automated and looked after by the same company.

Why it helps to have one company do it all

  • The gate is made to suit the opening, rather than the opening being adapted to the gate.

  • The gate and its automation are planned together, so the motor, hinges and safety devices suit the gate's size and weight.

  • One point of contact from design to maintenance, with no passing problems between a fabricator and an installer.

  • We know how the gate was made, which helps when it's serviced or repaired later.

For homes, businesses and industrial sites

Homes. Driveway and pedestrian gates designed to suit your property and your boundary.

Businesses. Entrance gates for business premises, car parks and managed residential sites, designed around daily traffic and the number of users.

Industrial sites. Gates for yards, depots, warehouses and factories, designed for wide openings and heavy use.

From survey to installation

  1. Site survey: we measure the opening and look at the ground, posts, slope, power supply and how the entrance is used.

  2. Design: we agree the gate type, style and automation with you.

  3. Quotation: you receive a quotation setting out what's included.

  4. Manufacture: we make the gate.

  5. Installation and automation: we install the gate, fit the motors, controls and safety devices, and test everything, including force testing.

  6. Handover and aftercare: we show you how the system works, give you your handover pack, and can service and maintain it afterwards.

Your handover pack

Every new installation comes with:

  • an electrical certificate, where we carried out the electrical work

  • an operation and maintenance (O&M) manual covering how to use, maintain and clean the gate

  • the force-testing readings taken at commissioning

  • a settings book kept in the control panel, recording all the programmed settings so any engineer who works on the gate in future can see how it's set up
