What we can do for your home

New electric gates

We design and manufacture gates to suit your driveway and your property, then install and automate them. You get one company from the first design to the handover.

Automating your existing gates

If your gates are in good condition, we can often add motors and controls to them. We'll check the gates, posts and hinges first and tell you honestly whether they're suitable.

Keypads, intercoms and remote access

Choose how you and your visitors get in: remote controls, keypads, intercoms, fobs or GSM access that lets you open the gate from your phone.

Servicing and repairs

Regular servicing helps catch wear before it turns into a breakdown, and most electric gates should be serviced at least every six months. You can arrange regular visits through a maintenance contract. If your gate has stopped working, we repair systems we didn't install too.

Swing or sliding gates?

Swing gates open inwards or outwards on hinges and suit most driveways where there's room for them to open. Sliding gates run along the boundary and suit sloping driveways, short driveways, or entrances where there isn't room for the gates to swing. At your site survey we'll look at the space, the slope and the ground and recommend the type that works best.

Safe to use every day

Electric gates are heavy, and they need to be safe for your family, visitors and pets. We assess every installation and fit suitable safety devices, such as photocells that stop the gate if something is in the way. We also show you how to use the system safely when we hand it over.

Every new installation is force tested before handover. Force testing measures how hard the gate pushes when it meets an obstruction, to make sure it's within safe limits.

Your handover pack

When we hand over your new gates, you get:

  • an electrical certificate, where we carried out the electrical work

  • an operation and maintenance (O&M) manual covering how to use, maintain and clean the gate

  • the force-testing readings taken at commissioning

  • a settings book kept in the control panel, recording all the programmed settings so any engineer who works on the gate in future can see how it's set up

How it works

  1. Get in touch: call or send the form, with photos if you have them.

  2. Free site survey: we measure up and talk through what you want.

  3. Quotation: we send a clear quotation with our recommendation.

  4. Design, manufacture and installation: we make and fit the gates and set up the controls.

  5. Handover: we test everything, show you how it all works and give you your handover pack. We can service the gates afterwards too.
