Commercial and Industrial Gates in Southampton and Hampshire
We design, manufacture, install, maintain and repair gates and automated equipment for business premises and industrial sites, and supply barriers and bollards to control vehicle access. One company, from the first site survey to ongoing maintenance.
For businesses
Your entrance has to let the right people in, keep everyone else out and keep working every day. We provide gates and access control for offices and business premises, car parks, retail sites and managed residential sites such as apartment blocks.
Automated swing and sliding gates
Access control for many users: keypads, fobs, intercoms, remote controls and GSM entry
Barriers and bollards for car parks and private roads
Planned maintenance so problems are found before they stop the gate
Repairs to existing systems, including ones we didn't install
If you manage several sites or look after a building for its owners, we can work with you on a maintenance schedule that suits each site.
For industrial sites
Yards, depots, warehouses and factories need gates that stand up to heavy use, lorries and wide openings. Because we design and manufacture gates ourselves, we can make a gate to suit the size of your entrance and the way your site works, rather than fitting something off the shelf.
Gates designed and made to suit your entrance
Automation for gates that open and close many times a day
Barriers and bollards to control vehicles on site
Access control for staff, visitors and deliveries
Maintenance and repairs to keep the site moving
Design, manufacture, installation and maintenance
Design
We survey the site and design a gate and automation system around the opening, the traffic and the security you need.
Manufacture
We make the gate to suit your site.
Installation
We install the gate, automation, safety devices and access control, then test the system and show your team how to use it.
Maintenance and repairs
Planned maintenance visits and repairs keep the entrance working and help you meet your responsibilities as the person in control of the site.
Safety and paperwork
Powered gates on business and industrial premises must be kept safe for staff, visitors and the public. We assess every installation and advise on suitable safety devices, such as photocells and other protective equipment.
We carry out force testing on every new installation, safety check and service visit. It measures how hard the gate pushes when it meets an obstruction, to make sure it's within safe limits.
When we install a new gate, the handover pack includes:
an electrical certificate, where we carried out the electrical work
an operation and maintenance (O&M) manual covering how to use, maintain and clean the gate
the force-testing readings taken at commissioning
a settings book kept in the control panel, recording all the programmed settings so any engineer who works on the gate in future can see how it's set up
After every service or safety check you get paperwork confirming it was carried out, and a written report. The report lists any defects or parts that need bringing up to the legal standard, and any worn parts likely to need replacing soon, so you can budget ahead instead of facing repairs all at once. Checks on keypads, intercoms, GSM units and other access control are included.
Not sure whether your existing gates are safe? Our safety systems and gate health check costs £199 for one gate, plus £99 for each additional gate checked on the same visit. Book a gate health check.
