Automated Gates for Private Homes in Ascot, Sunningdale and Virginia Water
Homes in Ascot, Sunningdale and Virginia Water are often set well back from the road, behind long driveways and mature planting. The entrance is the first thing visitors see and the first line of security, so the gate needs to look right, work smoothly and keep the property private.
Automated Openings designs, manufactures, installs, maintains and repairs domestic and industrial gates and automated equipment. We're based in Southampton.
Gates designed for the property
We don't just fit a standard gate to the opening. We design and manufacture gates to suit the house, the driveway and the way you want the entrance to look, then install and automate them. Whether it's a main entrance, a service gate or a second access, we'll talk through the options at the survey.
See our domestic and electric gates for more on what we install.
Where a property is in a conservation area or is listed, planning advice may be needed before changing the entrance. We'll flag this at the survey so you can check before work starts.
Privacy, security and access control
On a long driveway, you need to know who's at the gate before you open it. We fit intercoms, keypads and other access control so you, your family, staff and deliveries can come and go in the way that suits the household. Where there are separate vehicle and pedestrian entrances, or a gatehouse or staff entrance, we can plan the access control across them.
For estates with a separate service yard or parking area, we also supply and install barriers and bollards and heavier-duty commercial-grade gates.
Looking after a high-specification gate
A well-made automated gate needs regular care to keep it running quietly and safely. We recommend a service at least every six months. A maintenance contract means checks are booked in for you, without you having to remember.
We force test on every check, installation and service, and provide a written report after every check or service. We fit safety edges where they're needed and carry out written risk assessments, so the gate is safe for family, visitors, pets and staff.
Servicing and repairs, including gates installed by others
If your existing gate was installed by someone else, we can still service and repair it. Our call-out fees are fixed, and repairs are quoted after an on-site assessment, so nothing goes ahead without your agreement.
Out-of-hours emergency call-outs are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Extra charges apply outside normal hours.
