FAAC Gate Repairs: Swing and Sliding Gate Motors in Hampshire
FAAC motors drive a great many gates across Hampshire, from hydraulic FAAC 400 rams on heavy estate gates to compact FAAC 391 arm motors and FAAC 740 and 741 sliding gate motors. When one stops working, we can find the fault and put it right.
We know FAAC systems
Automated Openings is familiar with FAAC gate motors, control boards and accessories, and can fault-find, fix, repair, replace, upgrade or service them, whether your system was fitted by us or someone else.

- FAAC 412, 413 and 415 electromechanical swing gate motors, including the 415 L
- FAAC S418 24V swing gate motors
- FAAC 422 hydraulic swing gate motors
- FAAC 770N underground swing gate motors
- FAAC 740 and 741 sliding gate motors
FAAC faults we see most
Hydraulic FAAC 400 and 402 motors can lose oil or pressure over time, so the gate creeps open or won't hold closed. Electromechanical models such as the 415 and S418 tend to wear at the ram or brackets. On FAAC 740 and 741 sliding gates, worn pinions, rack problems and magnetic limit faults are common. Alongside these we deal with:
- gates not opening at all
- photocell faults stopping the gate mid-cycle
- remote handsets that no longer work
- control board failures
- damaged or faulty safety edges
How a FAAC repair works
Send photos or a short video of the fault, plus any error lights or codes on the control board, by WhatsApp to 07890 387915. Call-out charges vary, and repairs are quoted after an on-site assessment. If you're thinking of replacing the system instead, we offer a free site survey.
To keep a FAAC gate running well, have it serviced at least every six months. Out-of-hours emergency call-outs are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Extra charges apply outside normal hours.
