Electric Gates for Sandbanks, Canford Cliffs and Branksome Park

Sandbanks, Canford Cliffs and Branksome Park hold some of the most valuable homes on the south coast: contemporary houses on the peninsula, large detached homes in the pines of Branksome Park, and gated apartment buildings looking over Poole Harbour and the bay. Gates here have to look right, stay secure and cope with sea air every day. This page covers these neighbourhoods in detail; for the rest of Poole see Poole and Christchurch.

Gates designed around the house

Many homes along Panorama Road, Banks Road and Chaddesley Glen are architect-designed, so an off-the-shelf gate rarely fits. We design and manufacture sliding, cantilever and swing gates to match the property, and work with established motor brands such as BFT, CAME, FAAC, Nice and Beninca. Every installation is fully risk assessed before handover, including force testing.

Built for salt, sand and wind

On the peninsula, salt spray and blown sand reach everything. Sand in a sliding gate's track and salt on hinges, motors and photocells are the usual causes of faults. Cantilever gates avoid a ground track altogether, and we recommend servicing at least every six months, more often in exposed spots.

Gated apartment buildings

For apartment blocks and their car parks, we fit gates, rising arm barriers and bollards with fobs, keypads or video intercoms, and look after the equipment on a regular schedule for the management company.

Repairs and 24/7 emergency call-out

We repair gates and automation fitted by other companies, and a 24/7 emergency call-out is available. A gate stuck open on a house that's empty for part of the year is worth sorting quickly.

We're a Gate Safe Aware Installer and are working towards Constructionline Gold. See our accreditations.

Gate health checks

A gate health check costs £199 for the first gate plus £99 for each extra gate. Double gates count as one, and barriers, bollards, handsets and intercoms are included. We force test and give you a written report. To start, WhatsApp photos or videos to 07890 387915.

Canford Cliffs and Sandbanks FAQs

Which gate suits a sandy driveway?

A cantilever gate has no ground track, so sand can't clog it. We'll confirm at a free site survey.

Can you match a gate to a modern house?

Yes. We design and manufacture gates to suit the property, in a range of finishes and infill styles.

Do you service gates on second homes?

Yes. Servicing at least every six months is especially useful where a property is empty for part of the year.
