Commoners' ponies and cattle wander freely on forest roads, so a gate that closes reliably behind you is a real advantage. We fit sliding and swing electric gates, automate suitable existing timber or metal gates, or design and manufacture a gate in keeping with a rural property. Every installation is force tested before we hand over.

Long drives and remote entrances

Many entrances around Bisterne, Breamore and Sandleheath are a long way from the house. A solar off-grid gate can avoid trenching across paddocks, and a GSM intercom lets you let visitors in from your phone.

Horses and livestock

Gate safety matters around animals as well as people. We fit photocells and safety edges where needed and set the gate up so it moves at a safe force and speed around horses and livestock.

A correctly installed and maintained gate with the right safety devices will stop or reverse if it meets an obstruction. A gate health check will confirm that an existing gate is set up properly.
